I came across this tandem BMW sidecar and rescued it. It was going to be cut up. I am trying to find out anything I can about it. I have searched online but have been unable to locate one like. It appears to be and inline tandem BMW sidecar. It has a windshield that wraps around the front that I have but is not installed in the attached pictures. The frame is very well built and has a dual spring and shock mount for the sidecar body. Any information you could provide in this sidecar would be appreciated. If I can figure out what bike this attached to I may even try to find the right BMW to go with this sidecar. I have posted pictures in my album β€œBMW tandem sidecar”.

A lot of users have no idea how to find album pics so here's a direct link to your album.

I got no idea what kind of car that is.

Thank you for the link to my album. I will remember to do that in my future posts. I talked to Bob Wark at The Warkshop a one man shop specializing in vintage and modern motorcycle painting and sidecar sales/installation. Bob says that BMW never made any sidecars. This one was made buy a company in Indiana or Illinois that has gone out of buisness. He could not remember the name of the company. He recommends only connecting it to a big heavy bike because of its size.

The sidecar is called a Zehper.
It has been many years since we had one in the shop but we should be able to help you with mounting hardware.

Would that be a Zephyr?
