Hau'oie Makahiki Hao
A Happy and prosperous New Year to all.
Lonnie
Hauie Makahiki Hao? Do we have new oficial language on sidecar.com? What is wrong with Happy New Year?
Typo: Hau'ole Makahiki Hao!
Kanaka for Happy New Year.
English is not good enough for you?

Wishing all a healthy and prosperous new year as well -- with lots of miles and smiles. π

Β‘Pasen todos bien al nuevo aΓ±o resbalando, pero no demasiado hondo!
To All of you, slide well into the new year, but not too deep!
Chears!
Sven, the family, the 3 dogs, 2 cats, turtle, many fish, Jolly Roger 2, Chattanooga Chou Chou, Willy Willies (The 1960 US-one, not the Aussy nor the German one) and of cause Enrique Gonzales the only aerodynamic rig riding mouse!
I try not to limit myself. 2 wheels aren't enough either.

I didn't know they spoke Hawaiian in Boise.

There are a few of us still around.
In fact the names of the Owyhee Mountains, Owyhee Reservoir and other Owyhee names in the Northwest are misspellings of Hawai'i. Kinda like Cajun really means Accadian.
A lot of our ancesters helped build the Union Pacific Railway that opened up the west, mined and logged in the area.

Hau'oie Makahiki Hao:
I always thought it was Hawaiian for “Thank God-insert Polynesian equivalent here] I don’t live in CANADA!”
HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL!
LOL

Yeah, I've ridden by the Owyhee ranch on the east side of Steens mountain a time or two alongside the Alvord Desert.
