I have only delt with Hannigan, so I can not say any thing about any other company. I am satisified with their product for now. Things could change if I have problems and they don't take care of them.

Yes, Hannigan was excellent last week when I was there. Very, very easy to deal with. Only thing that concerns me is in the future if something happens to the owner what and how is the company structured to continue operation. I know this is not an issue with most people but when the company that I purchased my motor home from went belly up, it left no one in the area to deal with for repairs.

Hannigan just came thru for me again. Was out of state and a leak developed in a rear/sidecar brake fluid loss which I could not find, so I didn't know if it was bike line or side car line. Went to Gina's BMW and it was found to be in the side car line. $83 later I'm back on the road. Hannigan sent me a replacement line within three days. I sent back the old line and the bill from Gina's and received a check in short order from Hannigan.

I have worked with three different people at Hannigan (one of them having been Dave K.) and can say nothing bad about anything!

Seems to me that there is a lot of rancor in some of these statements. I can only speak from personal experience with David Hannigan and his crew. I took my Victory Vision up to the factory to have a super sport installed. I was a nervous buyer because of the chatter on this site. It appears, in my case, that my fears were unfounded. The job was immaculate and I got good feedback and good vibes from the owner and the staff. I have a Ural Red October and am familiar with sidecar's, their installation and performance. This baby was a pleasure to ride and the paint job was exceptional. Kudo's to the guys at Hannigan.
Maybe the staff will work out a buyout when David decides to retire (which appears to be never).

Hannigans installed my 2+2 in May 2010...excellent product and install. Like so much that my wife is getting a Conte on her H-D Deluxe first week of January and I am putting the Bandito on my '07 goldwing at the same time. Motorcycle dealer here liked the quality of the work and product that he is becoming a dealer here..Wilmington, NC.

I 'm sorry to hear some people seem to have had problems with Hannigan. My experiance with them has been great. We bought a Classic for my wife's bike early this spring, and are very happy with it. When I had a question about mounting it, I sent them an e-mail and got a phone call back from them the next morning which answered all my questions. I plan on buying one of their supersports to go on my bike early next year.

I had an after the sale issue and they were really good to me. Phone is definitely better than email.
