Hannigan Motorsports mounted a new Hannigan Classic sidecar to my '04 H-D Ultra Classic this past Friday. I left their facility at 4:35 PM that afternoon and as of last night (Monday) had driven it more than 1500 miles and loved every one of them.
I was concerned about hooking a rig to this motorcycle. Would I like it? Would it ruin a perfectly good bike, as my friends all queried, meaning, "Man, are you stupid, or what?"? Well, the jury is in and I love it. My passenger, Carolyn, asserts that she never wants to ride on a solo bike again. She is going to have a rig mounted to her '03 Moto Guzzi California asap.
The Hanigans, Dave & Ruth Anne, the personnel I met, Reno, Herb and David the technician are all professional people that make the visit great. I look forward to the Hannigan Homecoming in June.
