Just purchased a 1978 Sputnik, was in storage for 20+ years. Installing on a 2003 Fatboy. Almost attached a little more fabrication with upper forward connecting turnbuckle. Question turn signals, is the right signal on the bike supposed to be disconected? I did not want it to look like hazzard lights making a right turn.

yup. disconnect the right signals on the bike, so the other traffic does not get confused by a signal flahing i the center of the rig.
an easy way for me is to just remove the bulb from the bike right signal housing.

IF it were my sidecar rig "I" would disconnect the right side turn signals on the bike in a attempt to remove any confusion to any other drivers.
