Front Nose Sidecar Adjustment
My Harley sidecar nose seems to be a little high (pointed up). I decided to shim the back of it to bring the nose down a little. It looks more even now. Will this affect anything? I'm guessing that it won't, because as long as the tow in/out and lean in/out are in order, I shouldn't have any problems. Please advise.
Tweaking the body attitude shouldn't have any effect on the handling of the rig if the chassis alignment wasn't changed.
Even the later Banana bodies have that "snobbish" nose in the air attitude. I suppose that gives one more room before dipping the nose into the sand on a hard left with the brakes on. LOL

When I picked up my H-D rig this past spring an "Old Timer" happened to be there with his. He flipped the rear tub mounting bracket to achieve the same results. His claim was that it cured a tendancy to run nose high at highway speeds.
That is exactly what I did. I flipped the bracket and put a few shims on it to level it off. It is no longer has that stuck-up snobbish look. It is more relaxed and laid-back..... Sort of like myself. LOL
