How come some of the forums here open to a thread with all of the responses shown and others open to a tree where I need to click and open each response posted in order to view it? It takes forever to follow a conversation set up like that! Can I change something in my preferences to see all the posts in a thread at once?

Look above right of the first message in the thread and you will see a drop down box labeled "Message format." You can choose nested, flat or threaded. Pick the one that works for you and it should stay that way. Not that the server hasn't been known to belch ad you have to do it again... I use nested.

You can also go to the Settings button then to "Edit Profile". About half way down the list you can choose to have all threads appear in the style you prefer.
Ah, even easier.

Well, the settings-editprofile-view didn't work for me, but choosing message format-nested seems to do the trick. Thanks again.
