Finally
Worked all day yesterday prepping my bike for sidecar install. So after almost five months waiting for a brake hose. My car is finally mounted to the bike. I'm yet to get the brakes bleed out but its on there and the lean and angle of sidecar wheel has been set. Still have to do the toe in and get the exhaust back on but its getting closer.
Had to remove my 10 row Jagg oil cooler and Progressive touring stabilizer brace. I had just taken the engine guard off and installed a bracket to support the faring and that had to come off as well and the engine guard got put back on because the steering stabilizer wouldn't fit.

Good to hear of your progress Jeff. It's often a journey when we try to outfit the rig at home -- especially the first one. Looking forward to the pictures.

Make sure to recheck your lean-out after you set the toe-in.

So I added a couple bad pics. First ride was kind of scary. Car pulled bad to the right. Came home and reset lean angle and also found low front tire. Next ride was MUCH better. I see what you mean by riding the hill between tire tracks with the car wheel to bring the steering to the neutral spot. When I'm off the gas the rig seems to track very well now. Got to put a hundred or so miles on it and its still new but not scary to a 30+ year two wheeled guy. Think I can get used to not having to put my feet down......
Sounds like you are progressing well. These things are a bunch of fun. Your set up is real nice looking.
