Wayne,

i'm not clear on your question. Are you asking about EuroWingUSA, the US dealer for EML sidecars or are you asking about a sidecar called Eurowing [which I've never heard of]?

Also, it would be generally helpful if you filled out your profile as a new user. We're not asking for your social security number, just the city and state where you live.

If you go to EML website you will get eurowing usa. They bought EML when they went out of business. I have a Eurowing front end on my trike so I could run a ct. It is great. Should get 60000 mi on front tire and I don't have to deal with seals. The tire sets in the same place as the 6 deg rake . I would say there sidecar will be as good as the EML.

Just to keep things straight...

EurowingUSA is not a manufacturer, they are the importer of EML sidecars and trike kits made by W-Tec, the successor company to EML. W-Tec use the same molds, patterns and jigs that they received from EML but they do continue to make improvements to the line. One example is the new multi-part subframe that makes installation and service much easier. W-Tec also retained the EML name for their sidecars and accessory parts.

The sidecars and bike-side modifications are first quality. While they are not inexpensive you do get a high quality product for your investment. What you won't get is instructions for the do-it-yourself crowd. The conversion kits come with no documentation and no packing list. EurowingUSA in Hialeah will be happy to do the complete mounting job for you or sell you the kit. If you aren't very experienced or have a very experienced installer [preferably one who has done an EML or EZS install before] you will be very frustrated with the kit. It's not impossible, it's just not easy.

EZS is the direct competitor of EML/W-Tec and both companies are located in Holland. Both make fine products. EZS is less conservative than EML/W-Tec.

The first EZS kit I bought came in several large boxes with no documentation. I asked for a packing list to be sure we had everything we needed. I was assured that I had everything as they had double checked before shipping and no packing list would be forthcoming. As we got deeper into the build, we had two pieces of round stock, about 460mm long and threaded on each end. We spent a long time trying to figure where these TWO pieces went. Eventually, it turned out that they were front axles. Of course we only needed one but EZS never makes packing mistakes.

Al
If you would post your last post in place of the first I would not put in my 2 cents worth.

Lloyd,

Your post was better than mine because it answered the original question. My post just provided a little info that might help someone find info on EML sidecars more easily. A lot of folks believe that EML has gone out of business and their EML sidecars are now orphans with no hope of getting parts. I guess the "out of business" part is technically true but EML stuff is still available although sometimes not easy to find. The new company doesn't feel any obligation to provide small parts for the old units. If you ask, they say that they [W-Tec] didn't build the sidecars. That makes no sense to me but it does to them and they hold all the cards.

EuroWingUSA is focused on trikes but as the demand for EML sidecars slowly grows they are becoming more interested in the sidecar business.
