no idea about a second dealership

seems a poor economic time to open.....

is the vin on there webside? is it a FG bike?

per older posts on this list... ive been reading LOTS of issues about the 110's some sort of rear cylinder flaw possibly heat related.

i had a fan on my old bike - im installing a fan on this one in a month or so - i think 110's will require a fan

later

Yes, I've heard about heat in the larger engines. I think that HD is reaching the limits of cubic inches in the present engine family. Although it may be a sad day for many old-timers, it appears that liquid-cooling is on the horizon.

I guess a fan might help but liquid-cooling would make the engine's operation more stable and less likely to pre-ignte/ping/detonate/knock (pick one) on the bad fuels that are coming our way.

The heat issue is one reason that I've left my engine at the stock 88 cu.in. configuration. It will run nicely on 87 octane with no knock and it's got plenty of power for my old bones.

its engine size combined with epa regs. they get leaner and hotter to comply with epa

there is just no way around it - im really happy with my 96 - lots of power runs really well - but i did get the 7 year warranty and i wont mess that up.

but the factory fan has been availiable for years - for stop and go duty. well anybody who rides in the city during the day is in - guess what - stop and go duty and probably SHOULD install the fan. the fan makes a HUGE difference night and day.
