Hi all - I am new to the forum and new to sidecars! I am a hospice social worker in Jefferson City, Missouri, and I have a patient on service who is a disabled veteran. He has not been able to ride a motorcycle in quite some time, and it would be a dream come true for him to be able to ride again. In an effort to make this happen, I am looking for resources available to let him ride in a sidecar! He is unable to be out of his wheelchair, so the sidecar would need to be accessible.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Any information is helpful!

Best of luck in finding a rig that will meet the requirements. They are out there, but a special setup in an already niche hobby. I'm close to the Ft. Custer VA and am working on a flatbed for my rig in case the need arises here. It will take a bit of engineering to make it safe enough for anything but parking lot duty.
Did a wheelchair bound Disabled Veteran, also in hospice, here in Kansas City. Don't know his particular situation there in Jeff City but I was able to take our guy for a last ride in a standard Harley sidecar.

msw, there is a thread http://sidecar.com/mbbs22/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=14761&posts=14#M92555 that Jay from DMC describes briefly to me a sidecar for wheelchair that's mounted on the left side of the bike and the rider can drive the motorcycle using hand controls. No idea of specifics or costs but you might contact Jay at DMC if interested
