Guys, I've been building a leaner for my Cali 3 for a while now and some how missed posting the build here. If you want to check out the earlier work follow this link. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=845598

I decided to narrow and shorten an old pick-up tool box to use until I can find or build something with better looks. I do not own a brake so this was done the hard way but I think it will work for the time being.

I still need to sand, seal the seams and paint.

How 'bout that! We're sure hoping to see one of your Guzzi rigs at the Spring TURD/East Texas Sidecar Muster.

Keith,
with such a low frame, aren't You afraid of stones or branches on the road?
I pass most of my riding in the mountains and on gravel or mud, so I cannot imagine something that low.
But I'd love to try some day a concrete mixer leaner, that must be fun winding up the serpentines with grunt from the cellar.
Best luck
Sven

I've ridden around 200 miles through tight twists and have seen 100 mph on the clock while straddling road kill with out any tight cheek moments yet, but that was with out a body.

I can lean it to within 2 1/2" of the floorboard scrapping.

It looks fine and it seems you have achieved what you want

Got some temp paint on and bolted the body on this morning and gave it a 160 mile run with a 25-30 mph wind and had no surprises. Next I'll have to add lights and wiring.

This should be great to haul camping gear or groceries.
