Jay and company at Dauntless are crafting my sidecar, and it will likely be ready to ship back to Adamson Susquehanna Cycle in Red Lion PA for installation.

I'm REALLY getting impatient about waiting. . .wanting to enjoy this transformation and begin a new era in my motorcycling experience.

Did some extensive research before pulling the trigger for the Dauntless, but I'm convinced it's a quality product, and I already know the folks at Adamsons are very proficient in mounting hacks.

This seems like a very informative site, so looking forward to info sharing, etc. here in the future.

richard. . .thanks for the welcome.

Yes, really excited about the possibilities. I ride year-round, mostly commuting; about 72 miles round-trip daily during the work week. Also pleasure ride on weekends.

Convinced my wife will enjoy the hack more than riding behind me and hanging on.

Lonnie. . .that's likely not mine since they're going to send it out to their contract painter to match the Goodwood Green on my Bonneville. Funny, I had to send them my front fender in order to match the paint since the British paint codes and/or the base compositions are not totally compatible with U.S. numbers, etc. Thus, they're going to match the paint by "reading" the paint from the fender. Gee whiz stuff, but I understand it works well. We'll see.

With the spectrascope they can come close to matching any dried paint film color. Regardless of manufacturer.
Some do it better than others since the film must be completely cured before matching to the sample and paint darkens as it cures.

Wishing you good luck! Just heard from one of our friends who had sued Jay over a sidecar job gone wrong that he and his wife have filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy.

I talked to Jay about 2 to 3 weeks ago about buying some brackets so I could attach my ranger to the Triumph and he told me to go to another manufactor. I asked him, so you won't help me, that's right he said . I thought that was strange. So I payed the big buck's and order just what I need from Texas sidecar.rudyr

Picked our rig up 20 October on a beautiful day. Jay Giese and his Dauntless crew built this beautiful M72D, and Bob Adamson, Adamson Susquehanna Cycle, Red Lion PA did the mounting and prep, etc.

The rig rides wonderfully. . .I use it as a daily driver on I-95 in my commute between Baltimore and DC metro area. Cruise easily at 65-70. Did not take me long at all to get oriented to the differences, e.g., steering v. countersteering, etc.

Love the ride, and my wife enjoys the change, though she's MUCH more inclined to wait for warmer weather before she logs many miles in the chair.
