I've been riding on 2 wheels for a very long time.
Recently installed a sidecar and experienced 3 wheels with very much enjoyment.
(Only 140 miles, :-), thusfar and am sure there will be more.)

I've set the lean out, toe in and lead per the recommendations of Champion.
There was a slight pulling toward the left but has since been eliminated after a few tweaks.
Now the handling of the rig feels good to me.

But I still get a feeling and sensation that I am tipping over during right turns.
I have a weight ballast of about 90 pounds in the sidecar trunk.
I read and now know that right turns are daunting, especially for the novice and inexperienced.

Here is my question:
Is this "tipping over" sensation common?

Many thanks for any comment.
Jay.

If you have lean-out on the bike you will experience this feeling for a bit even going straight until you get used to the rig. You are used to banking in the turns and no centrifugal force is experienced since all forces are directed downward toward the bike with a solo motorcycle. At first one gets the feeling of falling to the left in the right turn. Leaning into the turn will alleviate this. It won't affect handling like hanging off will but one can feel more balanced.
