What can I use to glue the carpet down in my Velorex SC? It slips under foot when my wife goes to exit the car

Carpet tape, available at your local hardware or home store. It's just heavy duty double sided tape and yes, it is called carpet tape.

As a Velorex dealer, I have always loosened the two front seat bolts and slipped the carpet edge under the seat brackets about 1", then tightened the seat back down over the carpet.
This has worked great for the last couple of decades on all of my Velorex installations.

Industrial strength Velcro works and you can remove it easily
Did mine similar to Lonnie. Ran the carpet all the way back into the trunk and cut slits for the seat brackets. Then bolted it all down. Doesn't move around and can be removed easily by taking out the seat.
