- 2021 Cannon ball run came to Dayton ohio today. Running North to South this year. Only saw two sidecar rigs. One was on the found dead on the road trailer. All bikes are 95 or older.

I've been able to observe the Cannonball Run twice now. Once at Manhattan, KS during a Sidecars in the Flint Hills Rally, and once at the Indian factory at Spirit Lake, IA.
I love looking at the old iron and marvel that bikes about 100 years old can survive a Coast to Coast or Border to Border run. Some are beautifully restored, while other appear to have been found in an old hog lot in the tall weeds last week.
At Spirit Lake I talked with one rider who rode his antique bike to the East Coast start from mid-country, and planned to ride it from the terminus on the West Coast back to home.
