BMW R90/6
I am selling my 1976 BMW R90/6 with a Watsonian GP Classic Sidecar.
I have a complete service history of the bike, including original service manual and a Haynes manual. The Bike runs very well and starts up on the first time. The rear tire will need to be replaced for the next ridding season. The seat is original and has no cracks or tears. The bike comes with a wind sreen by National Cycle model Slexistar 2 that works well on those longer trips. Peter Smith from Side Effects did the Triple tree conversion (Steerite) which gives it “The feel of power steering” Peter also did the costume installation and set-up of the sidecar.
The sidecar is a Watsonian GP Classic, the year is unknown but it is stamped with a P23 on the frame. The sidecar is in mint condition. It comes with a passenger leather roof enclosure and a tonneau cover.
This Rig has won show prizes at the “Toronto Motorcycle Super Show”, and was used on the Children’s TV show “Darcy’s Wild Life” If you want to make some money with the rig, they would love to use it again for next season.
I have entered the realm of Sidecar racing two years ago and would like to continue with expanding our team, but there is no room in the garage for everything, so with a sore heart I have decided to put the rig up for sale. The new owner will be VERY happy with this rig.
