Does anyone have a Bingham Mark I with an original seat. I need some measurements and pictures so I can reproduce one for my restoration project. It would be great to get photos of the hinge, locking mechanism and upholstery. Tracings of the plywood base and seat back would be great. Thanks in advance.

FYI
My short answer was only due to the fact that I knew Troy (epicmoto)has spoken to Doug Bingham before.

Sorry for the hijack but when the dickens do you sleep, Claude? I see you posting at midnight & 5:00 AM. Probably busy working on my new rig, right?

I have spoken with Doug several times and he's been great. He has provided some pictures but did not have the original templates any longer. I'd really like to get a tracing of the size and shape of the seat base and seat back. I also would like to know how the hinge worked, i.e., was it mounted to the back or from the sides? I can replicate the upholstery with the photos that I have. Anybody out there got a Bingham other than myself? Thanks. Regards, Troy.

P.S. It does seem like Claude never sleeps. Maybe he just does it with one eye closed. TvK.
