Glad you finally got the Triumph/Ranger combo assembled. Post up a photo if you get the chance.

Triumph America can handel the Ranger really well. The handel bar or longer so it real works good handing the sidecar. I've tryed tighting the triple tree but still get a wobel sometimes. It may be damper time. She stopes strate with front and rear brake on. I think it's tracking right I haven't worked out the amount of off set with the front and rear wheel see as the rear wheel is so much biger that the front. So far I'm running the strate edge from the rear only parelleling with the sidecar wheel with avery small toe end.Rudy

Rear tire only is the right way to check toe-in.
If the nose wiggle only occurs at a low speed you will get used to it. If so that's better than using a damper which creates more steering effort and offers less road feedback to the driver. If not setup correctly a damper will also cause a bump steering effect. I don't recommend them unless an uncontrollable head shake is present that can't be eliminated by tightening up the neck bearings so the front end doesn't just flop from side to side, or ifwider bars can't control it.
Other causes can be front tire balance or cupping, worn swing-arm bearings or bent swing-arm.

I think I've finly got it set up on the lean out. I will find out in the morning, rideing to work. I may get wet rideing home. Don't mind rideing home in the rain, just hate leaving home in the rain.

I 'm down agein. Mybe up tormorrow will be on the road if snow melts. I had a bad thing happien but it was at low speed. But if anyone has a Triumph America with a Texas Ranger, look at your upper rear strut eye mounting stud. Don't ask. just really look. And I was not hot dogging with it, yet!Rudyr
I'm back on three agein. but no rideing in the snow. And back to adjusting a littel. Let me say this I like the Texaas sidecar. I have a problem with one item on the hardwear is all. I taked to Bob at Texas sidecar about it, he has that two diffrent size stud made at a machshop. And I don't think that is the problem. I've take to machest and they tell me that tose really hard bolts or really brittel and will not flex any they will brake. The stud I used was 1/2" on one end and about 3/8' on the other end. That where it broke right in the frist thread. Bob was sorrey and said he woold send me a new stud. That I would do it a different way, and I have. Come on Texas sidecar. I've looked a Hannigan sidecars two years in a row at Sturgis S.D befor I bought my Ranger. And I my get a Hannigen next yearRudyr
