I have been riding choppers for years (many years) but never had a hack. I recently picked up a friendship 1 and plan on putting on my '74 cb750 bobber/rat bike. a bit different than most here. anyway, I need to know where I can find some small parts. A windshield and the fold-up top. and of course any insight/suggestions.
thanks

I have a Honda 1980 CB750c DOHC that I am also hooking to a sidecar also.

There are subframes and hookups available at Motorvation http://www.motorvation.com/mntdiag1.htm and Dauntless http://www.dauntlessmotors.com/Mountinghardware/sidecarmountings.htm

Good luck.

"insights/suggestions" is kind of open ended?

For bike help; sohc4.net
For a windshield; contact the manufacturere or make one?
For set-up procedure, there is always Hal Kendal's CD / book here, and/or David Hough's book.
Pointers, clarifications, etc on set-up- ask here.

The main hint I might offer is to get 2 furniture dollies and shim the tub up with pieces of wood to make it even for set-up.

thanks for the links. I'm sure once I get it on the road the questions will come spilling out. I have a welder & a sawsall, so there's not to may problems I can't make worse.

Rat....

A man with a wielder and a sawsall can do anything. And you can always recut it and rewield it. Or vise versa. Have fun, and enjoy your project.
