Has anybody used the AMA roadside assistance program? I understand it covers your cars and trucks too. Has anybody gotten service on their car using this program? Were you satisfied? I just got my annual AAA bill [$175 with "RV" coverage for the bikes] and I'm looking for less expensive alternatives. THANKS!

Yes!!! I used it when we had van trouble on the way to the National last year. They contacted a tow service and took the Van to a service station with no questions asked and didn't cost anything. The only thing I didn't like was that they couldn't take our trailer with motorcycle but luckily a passerby with a trailer hitch brought it to our motel for nothing. Well worth the cost-which is nothing with auto renew.

I have used both AARP and KOA. about $80 a year. They both cover most vehicals. AARP would not cover an RV with Dual wheels. Harold in Kansas

Check out Good Sam coverage, several coverages for many possibilities.

I have not used it yet but $50/year and 100 miles of towing coverage

I dumped the AMA after paying MOTOW premium (old plan) and they never posted the payment. Took almost 6 months for the AMA to admit their screw up and issue a refund. I would be crazy to give them a credit card number with automatic renewal!
