almost finished!!
for those whom are interested,. my freshly painted car is returned, re-assembled and test run very well with it's new suspension, fresh wiring and new windshield,...convertable top will be repaired after my vacation,..so here's a couple of quick snaps, big thanks to Gustuffson's plastics in Fla. for the shield,..I'm quite pleased with the results,..cheers crawf.
looks good. BTW where did you get the smoked windshield ?

Very nice. What does your "main" passenger think of her re-freshed sidecar with tented shield?

Gustuffsons Plastic in Florida sent me the shield last month,. $219.00 plus $59.00 shipping, plus $39.95 customs fee to cross the border,..Lief Gustuffson called me personally within 10 minutes of an on-line inquiry, I had the shield within 8 days,..fit perfectly,..I had to gingerly drill the mounting holes,..brittle, and special drill bit req'd,. but he supplied a test piece to practice on before hand,..a little masking tape, some clamps, a marker and 1 1/2 hrs and it was on the car,...bike shield I fab'd at work one afternoon shift,...cheers crawf.
as she turned 10 on Wednesday, the tint looks " so cool!!!!",....hehe.. I often leave the top up so she doesn't get sun burnt on long rides, the tinted shield really keeps the UV rays to a minimum,..I also high-polished the mounting cap screws in the lathe at high speed so they really shine in the sunlight,...she just loves it,...altho it has been mid 70F here, I still can't wait for Easter in Myrtle Beach, see it in that southern sun,..hehe crawf. .
Nice! I have basically the same sidecar... in black as well too! ...but on a Goldwing.

Very nice bike and car.
Thought it was a Harley at first but the crossover pipe on the 3rd pic got me looking again. : )
Thanx all!, yes I get that a lot Sal,..this poor bike is a Hienz 57 for sure,..a swap meet found the early '80's FLH fairing and handlebars,..I re-machined a Yamaha tripple clamp to hold the bars, as mine came with one piece drag bars,..a Heritage donated my back pad,..an old '70's Yamaha the saddle bags and a'79 Honda was the source for my wife's back rest/storage bag which I remove, ( quick release) when she's not on the bike , I think the CF1 is an 88 model or so, but I have no numbers to confirm,..I fab'd the subframe and hardware bits to hold it all together , it has a BFG radial T/A car tire on the rear and stock 2002 Suzuki Marauder everywhere else , I did have a couple hundred L.E.D. lights under and around it, but I removed most of them this winter as they don't like the abuse over time, the bike spots were from a local farm supply for $10 each, and I welded up som S.S. pipe work to hold them,..if it's not factory chrome,..it's all stainless steel bits,...I purchased the bike new and added the car in '06? ..we have been well served by it,...thanx for listening to the ramblings of an old biker,..hehe cheers crawf.

Hehe, I'm a swapmeet junkie myself. Making parts fit (in a safe matter of course) and looking good like it belongs there takes alot of head scratching, cutting, drilling, and sometimes just walking away. I love it.
A few years back a friend had a Marauder 800 and that thing was LOUD, very loud. You could here him coming a couple miles away. He always rode in the back. LOL
would like a little more volume, however; my daughter would have been deaf by age 6,..lol,..so I left the factory exhaust system in place,..Cobra makes a nice sounding pipe for it , but I'm well beyond the " dummy loud years" ,..hehe..crawf.
