A year with the hack

Can't believe its been almost a year since I bought the hack to go on the Harley. As a guy thats been on bikes since the mid seventies mid way through the summer I was jonesing to ride on two wheels so I disconnected and spent a month riding just the bike. During this time I had some work that needed to be done to the bike and I had to have the stripes on the car painted to match the bike. Also while the car was off I spent alot of time bike shopping for something cheap tp ride when I didn't want to ride the sidecar. Finally found an 07 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 with 4000 mile that I was able to pick up for 5500. For me this is the perfect second bike, fun to ride yet powerful and quiet. After that the rig was reassembled and will now stay that way. During the reassembly I did my yearly detail and took some glamor photos of an awfully clean rig. Having just had surgery on my hand I finally took the pictures off my camera and thought I'd post up a couple..

Jeff

Looks great!
Are you going to match the TLE wheel with the front bike wheel?
That and matching lowers would finish it off nicely (IMO).

I have the lowers but perfer to run the leather ones on the engine guard when needed. I had the engine guard off with a bracket made by Hells Foundry but had to reinstall it because of clearence issues with stabilizer. The wheels were a show special in Daytona a few years back and are no longer made. I could get one close but at about a grand but have spent way to much on a golf cart I just built.

Here's mine, a little older version of your rig (and definitely not as clean).
