Hey all

I'm a complete newbie to sidecar rigs and have a question for you all. I'm looking at a mint 1992 bmw r100r with a velorex 565 with a flip nose. Mods to the car include the following:
-a sturdier frame
-a beefier axle/wheel assembly
-an upgraded suspension, with a progressive preload-adjustable spring.
All work was done by a bmw dealer.
It also comes with the regular tonneau cover and high-roof frame-supported tonneau cover with clear windows.

It sounds pretty good but I haven't seen it yet. Any advice from those of you with experience, on things I should be considering? Any ideas on $$$?

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks

Fin

These "Mods" sound a lot like a stock OEM 565 tour sidecar.
I know the prices are dearer in Canada than the US. List here for a new 565T is $3,899.00 USD plus destination charges and tax if applicable.
I don't know what your local market is on the bike itself.
Installation cost might be around $1,200.00 to $1,500. with a sub-frame and damper (plus taxes again).
It's kinda worth what you are willing to pay for it.
