Is the $10 the entrance fee to Griffth Park or is this a charity event?

$10.00 gets your rig into the rally. Spectators free. no charge to get into the park itself. Usually over 200 sidecar rigs attend. Its great, all kinds of sidecar rigs. Very friendly sidecarist and spectators. Separate parking area for solo bikes. No charge for that. You gotta come! 🙂
see ya there, gail
p.s. Entrants will get a nice metal commerative plaque - 35th yr. anniversary.

Did not get a chance to attend the rally. How did it turn out?

It was a great time. The weather was perfect and the turnout was HUGE! There was a diesel rig there and a 1948 French "MotoComfort" with two wheels in the front and a single rear wheel. Two stroke engine and a horn run on compressed air that you "wound up" by pressing a lever with your foot that caused a wheel to make contact with the flywheel and start the compression.
Gail and I were positioned between the MotoComfort and a 1968 BSA 441 Victor Special with a Spirit sidecar.
If you've been to GP before, the line of sidecars extended much further around the park than I've ever seen. It was an incredible day.

Wish I knew. I tweaked my back last Wednesday in the shop and Thursday, the morning we were to leave for the Rally, I couldn't even stand up all the way. So, no LA run this time.
So much for planning.
I'm sure there was a Wazoo turnout and probably not drizzly like last year.

I wondered why you were still posting on Friday afternoon when you should have been on the road for a day or two already. Hope your back is on the mend. We had a couple of folks from the Yakima area show up. I saw at least three Dauntless rigs there as well.

I thought the Wazoo turnout was in Pullman to watch the Cougs beat Oregon...

Nope,
Wazoo was popular for "Awesome" when I was a student at Portland State several decades ago.
Hope you had a nice trip last weekend though. I ended up working the weekend sore back and all. Had to get a Guzzi/URAL rig out by Sunday.
