Anyone begun looking at putting a sidecar on the new 2018 Yamaha Star Venture? Looks like it'd be a great rig (aside from engine heat in slow speeds / hit days).
I've written it down on my official wish list, and hope to see an example on here soon! 🙂

Being a 2018 we have not as of yet done one but I see no real issues in doing one. Some people will buy a bike local to us then have us pick up the bike and install the sidecar. They then either come pick up the bike or we ship the bike with the sidecar. Shipping a bike with a sidecar is not much more money then shipping a crated sidecar. People often will have us build up the bike over winter, store it for them until spring or summer and then start their vacation from our shop, many doing so by heading to Alaska.
