Since I have a check mark indicating I wish to opt out of the notices of answers to threads, why is my email still being cluttered with them?
And how do I find the personal massage page?
And how do I find my profile?

Well, Upper Right says My Settings and Inbox. PM's are in your inbox. Your profile is stored in the forum database but you can edit it via My Settings.
I just looked and there is a link that says unsubscribe from threads that you can click and then place a checkmark in the threads that you don't want to get updates from too.

That box that says unsubscribe has been checked all along and still I get the emails.
The box doesn't work.

On the right side under change password is an underlined link that says unsubscribe from threads. Have you clicked that and added a check mark to the threads that you are getting notices from? Also you can mass unsubscribe there too.
