I did not have to take off my exhaust to put on the lower rear mount but my bike is a lot older (1993) so I don't know what the latest exhaust systems...

You might want to look at Spiegler brakes' web site. They have quick disconnects but they're not cheap.
I just bought a set of brake shoes for my 96 sidecar. I got them from J&P cycle, part no. 41801-58A. I think yours should be the same part.
