Meeting called to order by Al. Treasurer reported $30,000. Much discussion on improving our organization. Average at rally was 50+ .
Need to get more younger members. Range was from 6 to 84. Rally was a huge success. Much discussion of setting up a net work of volunteer ambassadors like MOA,Ural,TMRA,etc. When it is finalized, Steave will mail out packets with info,tri-folds etc, to anyone interested. It will be printed in Sidercarist. Each state rep will be looking for people to fill positions. I definately need some help. I have members that live 800 miles from me,all the way across Texas. Dana gave report on next years rally in Hotchkiss Co. Board of directors approved a small raise for our editor and membership persn. Will Short took over as new president Meeting adjourned.

Chuck I think you are richt about the Sidecarest. You are going to like the next one.
Glad you mentioned that. The very next issue will be full color. Not the one at the printers now but the next one. That should have been in my report. Makes life a lot simpler fpr the editor. As time goes on,I will probably remember more things that should have been in the report. I don't know if some of us old farts can stand 2 nationals. Sounds good though. How about a north in the summer and a south in the winter? East and west? Possibilities are endless.

North East and South West one year, and North West and South East the other........just a thought...
We have an established rotation for national rallies... not that it couldn't be changed. Next year is in Hotchkiss, Colorado at the Delta County Fairgrounds. 2017 is to be held in the East, most likely New York's Finger Lakes region according to the NE Regional Director, Larry Pocobello. If you want that changed, tell your RD what you want. It's their job to bring it to the BOD.
We usually don't do very well with rallies in the West but that doesn't mean that there shouldn't be western rallies. We have to serve the whole membership. I'm sure that the BOD is open to suggestions.
Most of you are home by now. How about some feedback about the rally. What you liked,didn't like,what could be improved on,etc. Dana is already working on the 016 rally in Hotchkiss Co. I figure he would like some input. Come on guys and gals, speak up or forever hold your piece.

Thanks J.R., I did get a lot of feedback from rally goers about this years rally and a few hints as to what they did and did not like but truthfully they are the same things I hear at every rally our local BMW club puts on and I every other rally I have attended for that matter. I have things pretty much laid out for next year so I guess time will tell if we did it right. Not that I would not listen to more ideas though, I am always open to suggestions.

It was great to put faces to so many names I have read online. The variety of rigs was impressive and motivating.
This was my first USCA national rally so was little surprised there was only one educational session, which was very good by the way. Have been spoiled with BMW national rallies for sure.
Personally I would like to see and attend educational sessions, discussion groups or panel discussions on: Hacking with Dogs, Iron Butting with Sidecars, Going to the Darkside, Headshake Issues, Sidecar Maintenance, Building vs Buying, Fixing Roadside Flats, etc...
Also an advanced Sidecar Riding School or an Off-Road Sidecar School, for a fee of course, would be a welcome offering too.
Rallies are a lot of work in planning and putting on. The Short family did an outstanding job on this one. More volunteers will spread the load and increase attendance too. Looking forward to Colorado next year.
Dana, if you need another volunteer, be glad to help.
