I'm brand new to sidecars. I have a 1995 BMW R100 GS. I has a 17 inch rim on the rear, the sidecar I have has a 19 inch rim. Will this be a problem?

Thanks,

Kenm

I am sure others will jump in . But in my case the sidecar and bike have never had the same size wheel

It's not a problem, just something that will be taken care of naturally during mounting.

With GS sidecar rigs, we often find the car has a wheel that takes the same size tire as either the front or the rear tire on the bike.  The idea being that you can carry a spare tire that fits two wheels.  I had a GS sidecar rig with a 19" sidecar wheel that I rode for a while that way then switched it for a 17".  Both wheels worked just fine.

Welcome to the forum BTW.   How about posting a picture of your new rig?

Have owned 5 rigs but Rig #2 is my current one!
