Hi there. I picked up a Velorex 562 sidecar attached to a 1972 CB350F late last fall. It looks to be in pretty decent condition, and I can take care of the cosmetic problems it has. However, there are a couple things I'm unclear on. For those of you who own Velorex 562s, can you take some photos of the tonneau cover on yours? Mine has the snaps for one but I have no idea what the cover(s) are supposed to look like! I can probably have someone at a boat cover place make me some if I know what they're supposed to be. Also, it appears as if mine had a lock or latch of some sort for the back of the seat at one time, but it's missing. The hole is there in the fiberglass and the seatback has a little bracket on it, but again I have no idea what it is supposed to be like. Could you take a few photos of the lock mechanism and the seatback bracket the lock "attaches" to as well? Basically I'm looking for someone with a known-good/correct 562 to help me understand what mine "should" be like. Also, are there any resources for Velorex parts that the collective here knows about you could refer me to? Thanks very much if you can help me out! Best way to contact me via email at andywaddell@comcast.net. Thanks again!

While I can't say it's the "correct" one, I'll take a few pics tonihgt of my lock. As for the cover, I dont have one, but was thinking just today of making one. Cant be that hard, right?

www.velorexusa.com they may be able to get you the replacement lock assembly. I have a lock but no keys. although I have never seen a need to lock something on the sidecar, I never had a way to lock things on the bike.

cardboard substitute for windshield. I just cut a new lexan widshield and a summer short windshield and have not installed one yet.
