I have a 1999 Electra Glide and i want to install a ural sidecar on it . i have the sidecar already and i believe a company DMC makes kits to do this .My problem is their instructions arent all that clear . My question is has anyone out there done this type of thing and could they offer me any suggestions to get it right. I can be contacted directly at Joel.rawlston@yahoo.com Thanks in advance Joel

Joel,

Where are you? There might be an experienced person somewhere near you who could help.

This isn't just pointed at you Joel but there is a place on your profile that lets you post your location. I know internet security is a scarey thing but it would be a big help if more folks would fill in their locations. Not your street address, just your city and state.

I live in Andrews NC and I installed my own sidecar with DMC mounts. If I can help in any way let me know.

There is more than one option to help you accomplish this but DMC will have everything you need, including easy to follow instructions on minor modifications to the Ural chassis that simplify mounting it to other bikes. If you do not want a DIY kit you might contact Claude Stanley in PA who is very well respected.

You could always call Jay directly at DMC and talk with him about the part of the directions that are unclear... I'm sure he'd be happy to speak with you.
