Left side mount while it would surely be easier,,,,,would be a royal pain in the real world and not safe i'd say. Some wackos including one for sure in CA would not agree! Mounting to the right would take a long, horizontal subframe attached lots of places, both sides of the bike underneath could give a lower rear mount point far enough to the rear to clear the kicker swing. Coming up from that with a vertical tube which would attach to the bike up high then have a diagonal brace over to the other side (to the main frame) would yield an upper rear far enough rearward to aid the clearance issue. If originally wasn't such an issue a heavier wall tubing new rear bike frame loop would be a big plus. All of this is doable just lots of fab time/materials,,,,,,you need to work on that 'situation' thing.

Heck i'd say many of us are in some sort of 'situation' (CAS, can't afford s*#@) in these troubled financial times,,,we should start a club, Broke Bikers of the World!

Bob I am doing great a hell of a lot better then many. I am a financial genius I have learned how to survive off about $8,000 a year on a good year. But things are fixing to get better in the next few months. I have no fear I am the baddest MF that has ever lived and the Lord is with me.
