Have to replace the tires on my Honda 750 F and thought i would ask the experts what they would consider good replacements. Its hooked to a terraplane and only the bike needs rubber. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks Mike

I think the CB750 had several different sizes over the years.

Might help to know what size tire your bike wears.

Would that be 110/80/19 front and 180/60/17 rear?

The sizes for the 750 F are 3.25x19 front and 400x18 rear . I just thought something a little bigger and flatter would be better. what i have on there now has tread ,but are very old...its time. mike

18" and 19" sidecar block tires are available (although from different suppliers).

Those sizes, I'm not sure what they're called, but the closest metric equivalent of a 4.00x18 is a 110/80-18 (it's a little big larger), and a 3.25x19 would be a 100/90-19 (again, slightly larger). So you could expand your search to include those sizes and probably they'd fit and seat OK.

Looking up those sizes at Motorcycle Superstore brings up dozens of different front tires, but only 3 rear tires. On the rear, if you could get a 120/80-18 to fit, a good choice might be the Avon SM Mark II--long distance tire with a fairly flat tread, and the tread pattern kinda matches your vintage bike. Then you could go with a Avon Speedmaster up front to match. I'm just not sure if the 120 rear will work. You could possibly ask your local friendly moto dealer to keep an eye out for an old 120/80-18 that's getting replaced. You could then see if it fits before you order a new tire.
