Your alignment is more then likely off. However your will never get great tire life out of the rear with a sidecar as you have a heavy bike with a small by current standards tires. You may also have to much wheel lead on the bike. What bike and sidecar are you running? You can change to an automotive tire however it requires a special wheel be made and depending on which wing you have you will either run a 135 15 or a 145 15 both tires are not easy to find. In the mean time I like to run the least expensive tire I can find. Cheaper tires tend to be harder rubber and as such can last longer. Even if the tire does not last longer, at least it was cheap. When going with a cheap tire, make sure that it has the needed load capacity.

Check out the car tire motorcycle data base at Riding on the darkside
and look for the bike your interested in. This is how I decided on what car tire to use for my 06 Suzuki S83. A Florida riding buddy that has a VTX 1800 (I think) told me about the website as he has been using a car tire on his solo bike.

Bye the way I was wearing out MC rear tires on my rig at about 8k miles.
