I have an '04 H-D Ultra w/ factory sidecar, car tie is shot. I was going to transfer my front tire over to the car (it will probably go another 10k on the car) and buy a replacement tire. Finally the question is.....any advice for the best replacement front tire. This will only ever be a sidecar bike as I have installed Triglide trees. Any good brand is fine, I don't always follow the herd, standard size 130/90B-16 or MT90-16. Thanks Alan

IIRC, the 2004 Ultra can use a 140 rear tire. Dunlops are OEM on the larger HD's. My 2011 Dyna came with Michelin Scorchers but I'd look for Dunlops for a Big Twin FL.

Thanks, So I understand, I can run a 140 rear tire on the front for better wear and performance? Alan

The 140 goes on the rear. 2004 was the first year for that size. Sorry, I don't remember the front size but I think 140 might not fit the fender.
