Good day all,

I am looking to replace my front tire and would really like something with a flatter tread. I am running a VTX1800 with a 400lb two seater and darkside on the back. I have had no lusk searching on the net.

Anyone have any ideas??????

17 inch rim is going to be tough. Mine is 19 inch and I run Avon sidecar tire on it. Metzler makes an 18 inch sidecar tire. You might find a car tire on Coker Tires web site. I see they have some 17s

Hey Shaggy: It appears your wheel size is 3.00"x17". A similar search for replacement tires for my Sportster lead to a few vintage tire choices at vendors like as Coker Tire, such as the Excelsior Blackwall ( http://store.coker.com/450-17-excelsior-blackwall-tire.html), but all options were tube type tires.
