Chris,
Please take the time to read Hal's training material which is free for the downloading here at sidecar.com. There is a clickable link to it in my signature below. It will help you a lot in learning the ropes so to speak of sidecar operation and setup. Practice is the ultimate key and take it easy at first.
As far as your combination goes it should work out okay for you but do not be timid on adding ballast. Those 850s do make nice sidecar rigs. And..to answer your main question...Yes, a swaybar will help out and make a difference and can be added.
Oh..and welcome to the wacky world of sidecars..it is an addiction and a lot of fun.
