I have a 2007 Ural GearUp that I took to the Arctic Circle last summer.
My question is this.
I see many larger/heavier motos (BMW 1200GSA's) w/Ural sidecars attached that are running dual-sport tires (example - TKC80's) all the way around.
I am under the impression that those tires are not up to the weights that a Ural, or a 1200GSA w/sidecar would carry...especially the sidewalls. But just about every Beemer I see w/hack has dual-sport tires on it - and I've never read of any issues.
Can I run TKC80 dual sport tires on my GearUp? If not, then what is the difference between my Ural and a GSA w/hack that allows them to run them?

I imagine most any tires would be as good as the OEM Russian tires.
Those Beemers weigh at least as much as the URAL.
