I have removed a California Friendship II from a GL 1200 in order to mount it on my GL 1500 Aspencade. Probably be able to modify and use much of the GL1200 mounting hardware. However, I have found out the sidecar mounting subframe for the GL1500 is no longer available ( yes, talked to guy in Florida.) Anybody that has one or has specs for me build one PLEASE contact me! Any other mounting suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!😀

If you don't want to build it, you can check out Bob Wark from The Warkshop.  He's in Marietta, OH.

Pretty sure he's done some GWs

I'd expect Texas Sidecars [LINK] to be able to weld up a subframe for you from an existing pattern.  They have several pics of GL1500 rigs in their photo gallery ---->

I wanna see a pic the bike and sidecar. And your dog too. Ya gotta have a dog for the sidecar,,,lol.

And just for reference here's my 1500 with a FS1. I think a FS2 is very similar except I THINK it might flip open? Does it guys?

Yes,  Calvin, the California Friendship ll does have the opening canopy, whereas poor Sidecar Willie is stuck inside a non-opening sidecar canopy.

Talked to Bob in Marietta and he no longer works on “big bikes.” Told me at his age he didn’t want to move them around. Texas sidecar will only mfgr subframe if they have the bike. Same true for Freedom Sidecars in PA. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm going to post these pics here in case anyone needs them for future reference.  My bike is all put together but I can show these for now. But I do have others I'll add in a minute.

Here is the rear bracket. It's both top and bottom. It bolts to the frame under the seat and passenger foot board.

From what I understand, the sidecar frame has an extension on the front part of the frame for the 1500 Goldwing to make it longer. Does your frame look like this?

Nice one @calvin-watson.  Hopefully that gives bobfromswohio what he needs to figure out the changes from the 1200 to the 1500.

Somebody probably has what Bob needs. @bobfromswohio did you put an ad up in the Parts Wanted section?
