I am looking at a 94 Hannigan 2+2 sidecar that is mounted to an 89 GW. I have a 2000 Yamaha Royal Star Venture.

Can anyone tell me if the mounts from the GW will fit or will I need a new setup.

Sidecars are new to me.
Thanks
Bill

Check with Hannigan, the mfg'r. of the sidecar. They probably have the mounts you need or know if any will interchange between the two bikes.

Hi Bill,

You will probably have to puchase "NEW" mounts.
You will need the following
(1) Upper Mount = $75.00
(1) Lower Mount = $75.00
(1) Rear Upper Mount = $75.00
(1) Rear Latteral Mount = $125.00
The lower front mount that attaches to the frame can be used. Also the lower rear mount that attaches to the frame can be used. The Front and Rear Struts, should be able to be used again along with all of the clevis'.

I just ordered the above for my 96 GL1500 SE. I'm rebuilding a Hanniigan Astro 2+2. Just took a break from spraying primer onto an area on the bottom.

David Hannigan is away till the last week of September at a variety of shows. Paula who answers the phone will get you the information.

If you have any other questions, I will try to help you.

Regards
Best Buddy

Bestbuddy,
Thanks for the info. I will call Hannigan Tue.

I think the price is right for the unit, $5500. but when one does not know much about these setups one gets concerned. I will also have to paint it to match mine but that is extra cost no matter if it was new.

Good luck on yours.

Thanks again,
labill
