Gary at motivation has been real good giving me pointers and I found someone from another forum that had the same Road Glide/Spyder combo and he was kind enough to take a bunch of pics and give me some measurements ....so progress is being made...I'm waiting on another front upper mount to be delivered....I found out They have a mount that still allows me to utilize my lower fairing on the right without have to drll a hole thru it...I can say I'm getting a hell of a education..........

A few years back, I bought a Motorvation Formula 2 that had been through three or four previous owners. When I called them to order parts to mount it to my Moto Guzzi, They asked the name of the original owner, which I did not know. Mary then asked me what kind of bike it had been mounted to. I told her the guy I bought it from had it on an Ultra Classic and before that, had it on a Venture Royale.

Mary then passed the phone to Gary, who told me that if I used this, this, and this from the Harley and those two things from the Yamaha, I would only have to buy one $90 part to put it on my Moto Guzzi. They could have easily sold me $1000 worth of mounting hardware and I would have been none the wiser. I have nothing but good to say about the company.

If only the thing wasn't so butt ugly. 🙂 I never did like the looks of the Formula 2. Looked too much like a giant wedge of cheese.

And yes, I am a Cheesehead.

GO PACKERS!

When I was looking to attach a Champion Escort to my 02 Goldwing, Jay at DMC Sidecars said they can install it, or if I want I could do the install and afterward bring it by for them to inspect. If all they had to do is walk around to make sure it was attached properly, no charge. If it needed wrenching then it would be at their hourly rate. As it happen I found a complete rig in Illinois. When I got it back to Washington I took it to Jay to look over and was good to go. He did mention I would be needing a new brake rotor, which I did replace.
Anyway, you might check to see if the local dealer you contacted would be agreeable to something like that.
