I have a 93 BMW/EML rig that has worn out shocks both front and rear. I have looked into new shocks and the cost was more than expected. Some thing needs to be done and I am hoping to get help here. Any suggestions?

Some shocks can be rebuilt. Check with the company that makes the shocks.

Willie, I tried to dis-assemble the leaking EML branded shocks on my former K100/EML rig with no success. You can find some information re: shocks here: http://bmwmotorcycletech.info/EMLsidecar8.htm

If you can not work on the shocks, I suggest contacting Dave Gardner at ikonusa@gmail.com . We ending up replacing all 5 shocks on our rig with Ikon units, 3 of which were "custom" units: 2 of requested length and one adapting the original sidecar spring -- http://www.ikonsuspensionusa.com/servlet/StoreFront
