HI FOLKS:
During 2010 riding season, caliper fire wiped out sidecar brake. Was fortunate enough to obtain a few parts from Scott @ Arrington at that time. Since hub bearings were toast from the intense heat, my son pressed new ones [ obtained from Scott ] into hub for me. Unfortunately, hub had warped from fire. Now, my s/c wheel wobbles a bit [ noticable in turns ]. Has anyone found a replacement for CSC Friendship III hub? TTFN.....papasmurf
What California did was to take a standard trailer hub and weld a ring onto the rear of it for the brake rotor. What we do is make hubs from billet to do the same thing, Our hubs sell for $400. We can also make you a hub similar to what you have for much less money however we would want you to send us your hub so that we can make one as close to it as practical. You might end up having to shim the calipar one way or the other as California hand fit these items.
