I am planing on moving the Battery location from the factory case on my K1100LT to my Calif. sidecar. Have made a bolted down battery bracket for
the rear of the car behind the pas. seat.
What gauge battery wire is recommended to connect the battery to the motorcycle? I plan on using an high quality jet ski battery. Haven't measured the length
of wire required as the bike and car are separated for other maintenance. Guessing it would take 5 -6 ft. of wire. I plan to connect the pos. wire to the bike
thru a marine battery switch.

Was planning on doing the same on my current rig, but after some figuring decided to locate between chair and bike. I was going to need 6 1/2 feet of GA2 cable with a cut off. Did not want to reset my electrics every time. Decided to go with about 2ft of GA4 cable and no cut off. Each to his own! Good luck!
