Rar Tire Pressure
Topic starter
Hi Gang!
I'm running a 97GL1500A/Friendship II with Dunlop 491 Elite II's on the bike. The max rated rear tire pressure is 41 lbs. I am currently running 44 lbs to get the rear-end up a bit, but that's just barely below 10% over pressure. I know that manufacturer's include safety margins, but I can't get myself to go more than that. Any other ideas on how to reduce the "fat track" of these?

"Reduce the Fat Track"?
Are you looking for a narrower footprint or more heigth? Go to the shocks for ride heigth. Go to a different profile tire for the narrower footprint and a small ride heigth adjustment. I wouldn't go over 5psi cold over the recommended inflation.
