I have a 1995 1500 Goldwing with chamption escort side car. Is there a problem pulling a trailer also. I'm looking for a small general utility trailer for weekend trips.

The only problem that may arise is the width of the combined outfit on narrow or winding roads where you may need more than your lane to negotiate some turns. This can be hazardous.
The best way to circumvent this is to have your hitch mounted from the inside rail of the sidecar if you have a wide rig.
Towing from behind the bike or from the center of the rig doesn't seem to affect the handling of the outfit. Both methods are popular.

I pulled an Aspen classic w/ a 94 K1100LT and a Friendship III. Sidecar weighed 230, trailer 325 empty so figure 450 loaded. Built the hitch so it was about 1/3 of the way from the bike wheel and 2/3 from the sidecar wheel. Pulled fine but the poor Beemer was way underpowered. We stayed on 2 lane roads and traveled a lot at 50-55mph. It must've been ok. We put 72k on it before we sold it. Now I've got a GL1800 and Dauntless Liberator. The Liberator frame is set up to install a hitch. I'll keep you posted as to how it works out.
