Need to order a set of springs not to soft but didn't want to get to stiff, Guzzi Cal2 w/ SCF , should be 25% increase from regular set. Regular is 90/1130, HD is 105/150, would 125/170 be too stiff? Rig is packed for camping & 2up. Anyone w/ experiance on different spring set-ups?

Steve,

I'm betting that there isn't enough info here to make more than a wild assed guess about what you should buy. That said, I've had really good luck with calling companies like Progressive and asking for their recommendations. You'll need to provide the weights of you and your passenger, where the passenger rides [we hope in the hack] and the weight of your kit as well as the weight of the sidecar. They are usually pretty good at figuring this stuff out the first time.

Good Luck!

Thanks Al, got it sorted out later today, and Yes the wife rides in the tub. I was thinking the HD springs may be too light for sidecar use, but the next step up is too stiff.
