I've often heard the comments about a raked triple tree creating "power steering" on a rig. Yesterday I took my first real test ride of the Aspencade/Friendship 3 with the Power Trak installed. It is amazing how much of a difference it made. I was able to purchase it for $500, unused, from a trike person who decided it would be too much work to install. I've never had a problem controlling a rig so I doubt I would have paid retail ($1600), but I guess I'm happy I jumped on this one.

The Power Trak is different than most, in that it also includes fork tubes that are about 6 inches longer than the stock ones. This brings the bike back up to it's original ride height.

To illustrate the difference, this sidecar was perfectly level, front to back, with the original fork. The front of the sidecar is now 4 inches high.

Here's a shot before I changed the front end.

Those of you who know me, know that this is my 7th sidecar install in the last 10 years.

Two XS850s and an XS1100 with the Dnepr car

Moved the Dnepr to my Valkyrie

Replaced the Dnepr with a Ural car

Sold the Valkyrie and mounted a Formula 2 on my Moto Guzzi

Now the Goldwing. I think I'm going to take a break and just enjoy this one for a while.

Live and learn, Mike. Nice to have that fingertip control, Huh? Great price too.
