Offroad sidecar tires
I am building an offroad rig (with the able help of Claude) that has a 1984 Yamaha XT600Z Ténéré (like a KLR650, but way cooler) as the tug and a 1984 MZ Superelastik Seitenwagen as the hack. The bike has tire sizes of 3.00 x 21 on the front and 4.6 x 18 on the rear. The tire size on the hack is 3.50 x 16.
I am trying to figure out what types of tires I should use on the rig. It will be a dual sport rig so it will be be driven on the road to connect the trails; probably about 80% off and 20% on. I know I definitely want an offroad tires on the tug. What about the hack?
I was looking at the Kenda K760 Trakmaster II for all three since they come in the close to the sizes that I need.
Any other suggestions?

Just my 2 Cent.
I abused my MZ and had to traigthen out the front fist of the sidecar frame and the free swing arm on the sidecar suspension once and again.
The pressed sheet metal frame in my eyes is way too soft for hard off road uses. Think about reinforce both main frame and s/c swing and put a 4. conection to the bike. The boat is very handy for the passenger and load, but not nice for to monkey off road. My monkeys were off road allways sitting on the trunk.
The hydraulic s/c brake is nasty when in contact with salt.
